  • The Navigation Department of China Siwei Surveying and Mapping was established. With the support of the designated government department, China Siwei cooperated with Toyota Group, Denso from Japan and Toyota Tsusho Corporation to jointly develop auto-purpose navigation systems matching with Chinese situations; Siwei was responsible for the development of the Chinese navigation maps.
